Dr Hamza Ahmad Haddad is a distinguished legal expert and the Former Minister of Justice of Jordan. He was the Founder of the Law and Arbitration Centre – Jordan, the first registered legal firm in the country. Dr Haddad had an extensive academic background, having served as a lecturer and associate professor at the University of Jordan from 1976 to 1985. He was also a part-time lecturer at many Schools of Law in Jordan and the former acting Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Jordan from 1984 to 1985. Additionally, he lectured at the Dubai Judicial Institute from 2004 to 2005 and was a Visiting Professor at several high academic schools in Arab States, including Saint-Joseph University in Lebanon and Dubai, and the Arbitration Centre of Ain Shams University in Cairo.
Dr Haddad’s practical experience was equally impressive. He had been an attorney at law since 1985 and was the founder and manager of the Law and Arbitration Centre. He also founded and managed the Arab Institute for Arbitration and ADR Dr Haddad participated in preparing, amending, and submitting notes about many draft laws or other rules of law in various Arab States. He was one of the leading founders of the Arab Union for International Arbitration in 1997, Cairo, and was the Secretary General of the Union since 2008. His primary responsibilities revolved around managing various aspects of banking operations, including syndicated loans, banking litigation disputes in more than 30 jurisdictions, drafting legal agreements, and providing advice on day-to-day banking activities.

Her Excellency Dr Hend al-Aleelii is the founder of HBH Advocates and is in an exclusive partnership with the Law & Arbitration Centre. Armed with a PhD in law, Her Excellency has made significant contributions to the legal field. She was a member of the UAE parliament, known as the Federal National Council, where she served with distinction. Notably, she holds the record for being the youngest member in the history of the GCC region, comprising the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. Her Excellency’s achievements in the legal and political arenas are commendable.
